Ulysses arrived at Horse Creek on September 24, 2012. Ulysses, his brother (Troy), and another unrelated dog were found on a busy highway by a woman on her way to work. Fearing they could be run over, the woman loaded them in her car and took them to the shelter.
Ulysses and Troy were very shy and very bonded with each other when they first arrived. We have introduced them to other dogs and puppies of all shapes, sizes and ages. They have adapted very well. They still enjoy playing with each other, but they have new friends as well.
Ulysses has adjusted to his new surroundings. He will need to adjust once again to a family and a new home. He will blossom very quickly into a wonderful, lifelong companion.
