The Alternative Spring Break program at Appalachian State is diverse and offers 22 different trips from their college under the organization Appalachian Community Together. Students who choose to go on alternative spring breaks do not receive any college credits. They do it for the joy of helping. |

These 11 people have lifted our spirits and brightened our days. Their motto is from Mahatma Gandhi: “I shall pass through this world but once. Any good, therefore, that I can do or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.” Thank you, our new friends, for passing our way.... |
