Zola arrived at Horse Creek from the animal shelter on May 7, 2009.  We believe she is a boxer mix.  She was extremely friendly and her eyes were begging--so we loaded her into the van to come with us to Horse Creek.

Our veterinarian has examined Zola and she was tested for heartworms.  Unfortunately, she tested positive for heartworms.  She has received all of her vaccinations and she was already spayed when we rescued her.  

Zola completed her heartworm treatments and was very tolerant with us through her ordeal.  During the time of her confinement, we realized that she has times when she cannot control her bladder function.  The problem is NOT severe or constant.  But she is on medication (one pill a day @ about 25¢ each) so that the problem is controlled.

Zola is a very sweet girl.  She showed great patience with us during her treatments.  Now she romps and plays and has a great time!  She will make a great addition to any home where she can be loved and cared for always.  Please consider giving this girl a chance at a great life!
