Xanadu arrived at Horse Creek from the animal shelter on April 26.  Our veterinarian believes she is either a Catahoula mix or a Whippet mix, or maybe a little of both.  Either way, with her coloring, she is a very striking girl.

Xanadu had obviously never been around other dogs or people.  She was not sure exactly what was expected of her.  She has been introduced to various sizes of dogs (and cats. Too).  She has learned what “playing” is all about.  She has made quick friends with other dogs and enjoys running and playing in the exercise areas.  She has also learned that she loves the swimming pool!

Xanadu will make a great companion for the lucky family that opens their home and hearts to her.
