Uptown Girl arrived at Horse Creek from the animal shelter on April 6, 2010.  We think she may be a Chocolate Labrador retriever mix.  She is a little smaller than a normal Labrador would be, weighing around 40 pounds and full grown.  

Unfortunately, she had a small setback--she had mange and had to remain isolated from other dogs until she was no longer contagious.  She is now free from those annoying skin issues and happily playing with her friends.  This is not something that will recur.

Uptown Girl is very friendly and energetic.  She is very sweet and plays great with other dogs; however, she prefers attention from people if she gets to have her way.

Uptown Girl has her bags packed and is ready to move forward with a new life and leave the old one behind.  She will make a great life-long companion to a loving family!
