Unice arrived at Horse Creek from the animal shelter on March 14, 2011.  We are not sure of her pedigree, but she could be a standard rat terrier mix.  She has the markings and temperament of that breed (but she doesn’t know or care).

Unice was probably severely malnourished in her childhood, and she had painful growth problems because of that.  Her bones are not as strong as they could be, and she shows signs of early arthritis.  She will have a great, long, normal life—but she needs to live with a family who are not extremely active.  She’ll make a wonderful couch potato!

Unice is a very happy, playful girl.  She plays well with other dogs who are not too rough.  She’s easy to be with.  Her wrinkled forehead makes her look curious and interested about her surroundings all the time.  And she is!

Unice will make a great addition to a loving and caring family.
