UBI

Ubo’s estimated birthday: October 9, 2006

Estimated weight: 21 lbs.

Ubi arrived at Horse Creek from the animal shelter on April 9, 2008.  Ubi is a standard American Eskimo dog.  He is absolutely the sweetest little guy you could ever meet.

Ubi was examined by our veterinarian and tested for heartworms.  He was NEGATIVE!  He had already been neutered when we rescued him.  He has received all of his vaccinations and doing great.

Ubi plays with other dogs and gets along with all shapes and sizes.  He is just the best!!!

Ubi has one problem – he has been shot in his front left elbow.  He uses his leg if he is simply walking around, but he will carry it if he is running.  Ubi is a very fast runner on three legs!  His leg does not seem to bother him.  We will evaluate him and make sure that the leg does not cause him any pain.  If that proves to be the case, his leg will need to be amputated.  He only weighs about twenty pounds, so he will be able to do just fine on three legs.

We will keep you posted on Ubi’s progress……
