Tilly came to Horse Creek on July 11, 2003. She
had been seen entering traffic on a busy highway by concerned
families who lived close by, and they saved her. She was more
than glad to go with her rescuers to the shelter-she was not
afraid of people.
Tilly was quite concerned about herself when she
got here, and she tried to be a little huffy. We thought she
was going to be a difficult dog. But as soon as she had a few
days of rest, she began to slowly calm down and feel safe.
A couple of our other dogs with severe emotional
problems bonded with Tilly. Her job became to help these pups
adjust and grow. So we kept Tilly with us to help. We want Tilly
to have a chance at a home of her own. She initially had a tough
time, but since being here she has had a fulfilling career. Now
she needs and deserves her own family.
Tilly already had a spay scar when she arrived
here. But she has remained current on her vaccinations and heartworm
prevention. She still likes to be "in charge" of things--she'd
love to be responsible for someone's loving home!!!!
