River arrived at Horse Creek from the animal shelter on April 6, 2010.  We believe he is a Jack Russell and/or Rat Terrier mix.

River is extremely friendly with people and plays well with other dogs.  But he does prefer attention from people to being around other dogs.

River is simply a great dog—quiet, easy-going, and affectionate!  He would make a great companion for the lucky family that opens their home to love and care for him.
