What's in a name? See below!

Radar arrived at Horse Creek from the animal shelter on September 13, 2007. What breed is Radar? We think she has definitely got Bassett Hound in her, but we are not sure what else. We’re saying Lab because of the shape of her head, but we welcome other suggestions!

Radar was checked over by our veterinarian and tested for heartworms. She was negative for heartworms!

Radar has received her vaccinations and has been spayed. She had a fungal infection on her skin, which was treated and will not recur.  She is happy and healthy!

Radar loves other dogs and is a people lover.  She is energetic and enthusiastic about life.  She deserves a chance at a lifetime home with a loving family.  They will always be entertained!

Radar was named in tribute to Search and Rescue K-9, RADAR, who served at the Fresh Kills Landfill following the September 11th terrorist strikes on America. You can read his story in Dog Heroes of September 11th by Nora Kilgore Bauer.
