Quizno arrived at Horse Creek from the animal shelter on April 9, 2008.  We were told that she is a Schnauzer/Yorkie mix.  She could be!  Who knows?  She is very sweet and a little bashful.  She is becoming less and less timid every day.

Quizno was checked over by our veterinarian and tested for heartworms.  She was negative for heartworms, but positive for Ehrlichia, which is a tick-borne disease.  She had to take antibiotics for several weeks, but that is all behind her now. There are no long-term effects from this. She had already been spayed when she came to Horse Creek and she has now received all of her vaccinations.

She is ready to find a forever home where no one will throw her away again.  Quizno will blossom in a calm and reassuring home with a family that understands her.
