What's in a name? See below!

Quest arrived at Horse Creek from the animal shelter on September 13, 2007.  We suspect that this energetic girl has some Australian Cattle dog in her (what folks locally call a red heeler).  She is not a very big girl--she weighs about 20 pounds.

Quest was examined by our veterinarian and was tested for heartworms.  She was believed to be very healthy and was negative for heartworms. She has received her vaccinations and has been spayed. She spends her days running and playing with other dogs.

She is a very active girl and needs a family that can provide her with plenty of exercise.  She will be a faithful companion to some lucky family.

Quest was named in tribute to Search and Rescue K-9, QUEST, who served at the World Trade Center following the September 11th terrorist strikes on America. You can read her story in Dog Heroes of September 11th by Nora Kilgore Bauer.
