OSHKOSH

Oshkosh’s estimated birthday: April 9, 2006

Estimated weight: 15 lbs.

Oshkosh arrived at Horse Creek from the animal shelter on April 9, 2008.  We think that Oshkosh is a “Yorkie-Poo” (Yorkie and Poodle mix).  He is a very shy little guy.  But he is learning that he can trust us more and more every day.

Oshkosh has been checked over by our veterinarian and tested for heartworms.  He was NEGATIVE!  However, he was positive for Ehrlichia, which is a tick-borne disease.  He simply had to be on antibiotics for several weeks, and now it’s all gone with no long-term effects.  He has received all of his vaccinations and he has been neutered.

Oshkosh plays well with other dogs.  He would be great in a home with another dog to help him adapt to a new family.  But he will do great in any situation as long as his forever family understands and will give him time to adjust to a new situation.  He deserves a chance, and the rewards will be incredible!
