Luna and Memphis had been seen at a local garbage dump.  They were obviously undernourished.  You could count their ribs and see their hip bones.  Memphis had been shot with a shotgun and had small wounds all down one side of his body. 

Luna and Memphis arrived at Horse Creek on April 6, 2008.  We think Luna is a Redbone Hound.  She is very sweet and beautiful.

Luna was covered in ticks, so she was immediately bathed and dipped.  She was examined by our veterinarian and tested for heartworms.  She was NEGATIVE!  She had already been spayed before coming to Horse Creek.  She has received all of her vaccinations and is doing very well.

Luna loves to play!  She plays well with other dogs and loves people.  She has packed her bags and is ready for a family of her very own.  She wants a family that will love and care for her always.
