Buttercup came to Horse Creek from the animal shelter
on August 10, 2004. A cute little thing, we think she might be
a boxer mix-maybe with a little American pit bull.
Buttercup found a wonderful home and had it made
for a while. But it appears she was lacking the discipline that
puppies need in order to behave properly. She was too "bossy"
around other dogs. It was probably really cute when she was a
puppy, but it was less cute as she got older.
We brought Buttercup back to Horse Creek and have
been working with her. She has responded wonderfully to discipline
and instruction. She loves people and wants to please. But she
does need a family who understand that she will be the boss if
no one else chooses to step up and take on the role.
She's current on all her vaccinations, spayed,
and wanting desperately to please and be loved.
