Adela was found by a group of hunters on a bitterly cold winter evening.  They were deep in the woods, far away from any homes.  She was extremely sweet and trusting.  She allowed one of the hunters to load her into his vehicle and take her to the animal shelter.

Adela came to Horse Creek on December 28, 2009.  We think she could be an Australian cattle dog mix. 

Adela was already spayed when she came to us.  She is a very calm, smart dog.  She gets along well with other dogs, but she prefers attention from people. 

Adela has her bags packed and is ready to start a new chapter in her life.  She is looking for a family who will love her forever.
